Mr.本名岩本正勝，他的名字Mr.來源於「Mister Giants」(巨人先生): 戰後讀 賣巨人棒球隊的超級巨星球員，為了加入動漫界，1996年畢業於東京創形學校 美術系後，擔任村上隆助手，甚至成為他的首席弟子，他深受日本動漫文化影 響，作品充滿色彩與日本味的卡漫人物、以及蘿莉控和御宅族風格。他的畫風 主要是專注於日本住宅區中，隨處可見的可愛少女，繪製成動畫風格或電玩角 色風格。

Mr., whose real name is Masakatsu Iwamoto, got his moniker from "Mister Giants," a post-war superstar player for the Yomiuri Giants baseball team. In order to enter the world of manga, he graduated from the Tokyo Design School's Fine Arts Department in 1996 and worked as an assistant for Takashi Murakami, eventually becoming his chief disciple. Influenced deeply by Japanese anime culture, his works are characterized by colorful and distinctly Japanese-style characters, including kawaii (cute) girls, as well as elements of lolicon and otaku styles.

His artistic focus predominantly centers on the cute girls found throughout Japanese residential areas, depicted in an animated or video game character style.
